Car Rental Fuel Policy

For bookings made with cheap-car-rental.com both Dollar and Alamo have a policy of charging for a full tank of fuel at commencement of rental  and duly providing a providing the car with a full tank.  Hirers are instructed to return the car as empty as possible and no refund is given for any fuel remaining in the tank when the car is returned.

An alternative is to book the option of including the initial tank of fuel. This option also allows an additional person to be nominated to drive the car.

From 1st April 2012 onwards, Alamo customers will have the option to return the car with a full tank of fuel.
